Delicious Swedish Meatballs Recipe

While school just ended and you’d think Summer would be here, that’s almost the case. Here in Ohio in mid-June we’re still having some chilly days, mixed with many rain recently. I wanted to form something for dinner that didn’t requite much time and that i had of these ingredients available.

I have to inform you that I keep the Lipton Recipe Secrets soup & dip mix available in the least times, and every one flavors! You’d be surprised at just what percentage thing you'll do with them! i exploit the Beefy Onion mix within the sauce for these Swedish Meatballs because it gives it an additional flavor kick that i really like.

And because the sauce is what is going to really make this recipe stand out, it’s nice to possess that extra flavor and a pleasant little secret ingredient!

Some Recipe Tips:

  • You can sub out Panko or maybe crushed crackers for the breadcrumbs if you wish . They don’t need to be seasoned. I a bit like the additional little bit of seasoning that breadcrumbs offer.
  • If you’re watching calories, you'll use reduced fat cream for the cream . If you would like to use half & half just take care this sauce doesn’t boil or it'll cause it to separate.
  • You’ll be surprised at what proportion flavor the Lipton Recipe Secrets soup & dip mix increase the sauce! While it’s not required, i really like the added kick of flavor and that i hope you'll also.


Delicious Swedish Meatballs Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1 medium ohion finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves pressed or chopped
  • 1 tablespoon parsley chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 5 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 packet Lipton Recipe Secrets Beefy Onion Soup & Dip Mix

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. In medium bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, garlic cloves, parsley, salt, pepper, and egg. Mix until fully combined.
  2. Roll the bround beef mixture into 20-25 small meatballs. In a large skillet heat the olive oil. Add the meatballs and cook until brown, turning consistently until cooked through. Remove from skillet and put on a plate covered with foil.
  3. Add butter to skillet with flour and whisk combining until it starts to turn brown. Slowly add beef broth, heavy cream, and Lipton Recipe Secrets Beefy Onion Soup & Dip mix. Simmer & whisk until the sauce starts to thicken.
  4. Once the sauce is thickened add your meatballs back to the skillet and let simmer another 1-2 minutes. Salt & pepper to taste. Serve with egg noodles.
